The SunRocket internet phone service firm continues to build a seasoned leadership team by attracting world class talent. Their newest member to the SunRocket team is Robert Kramer.
SunRocket, one of the nation’s fastest-growing Internet phone service providers, announced on May 22, 2006 that Robert Kramer has joined the company as Chief Information Officer. As CIO, Kramer will manage the company’s information technology investments and ensure that automated support applications can scale seamlessly and cost-effectively as SunRocket builds the nation’s premier Internet phone service company.
“Rob is a world class executive talent seasoned in successfully managing and launching consumer services and applications for the mass market,” said Lisa Hook, President and CEO of SunRocket. “As our explosive growth continues in the coming months and years, Kramer will play a crucial role in scaling our automated support systems and managing the design and deployment of innovative technologies to the residential marketplace.”
Most recently, Kramer served as Senior Vice President, Business Technologies at America Online, Inc., managing the organization responsible for the design, development, and certification of all the server-based business applications that operated AOL’s consumer services. Kramer managed the systems infrastructure for billing, order management, customer service, marketing campaign management, customer CRM (cross-sell, up-sell, popup server), enterprise reporting and corporate finance.
Prior to AOL, Kramer was President of Audible, Inc., the leading provider of downloadable audio books, magazines, newspapers and other spoken-word audio programming. He also spent twenty years in various executive capacities at American Management Systems, Inc. developing software products targeted primarily for the financial services industry.
